It is just about done!! We moved the kids to their new rooms to prepare for baby!! We had thought about them sharing a room but ultimately decided that disrupting sleep when a new baby is coming wasn’t the best idea. So, we moved Rylan upstairs to the playroom/guest bedroom. Sofia has also moved to Rylan’s original room.
Sofia’s new room had already been painted a pretty grey color last year. So with her added pink and white, it looks so pretty in there. She also has more space, which she is loving. She is really into performing right now so she is loving the space to practice her singing and guitar playing.
I purchased the bed from Wayfair and have linked a similar one below (this exact bed is no longer available). I have also linked similar curtains and bedding; as hers are several years old and are no longer available. The accessories are all from Hobby Lobby. The knobs are the easiest way to change up a piece of furniture. Her dresser, believe it or not, is from Walmart and is over 8 years old. I absolutely love the style and I simply changed the knobs when we moved it to her room for a more “little girl” vibe.
The desk was made by hubby, using an inexpensive piece of wood, leftover stain and a couple of brackets! The wood, stain and brackets are all from Home Depot and cost under $40. Her desk chair is an antique and the beautiful dream catcher was handmade by a local artisan!
I will be sharing Rylan’s room makeover, with links to the purchases, soon too… so stay tuned for that!!
