Doing our best…

I feel like the worst mom and the worlds best mom… all in a days time. I know most of you mom’s can totally relate. On most days, we are doing our best! And isn’t that enough? Or is it?

At 6:00 am, we start our day. We run around to get ready for school and work. We give hugs and kisses and rush out the door. By 6:00 pm we are cooking dinner while managing homework, after school activities and to do lists a mile long. 12 hours of time have lapsed and we are racing against the clock. All the while doing our very best. And I totally know Mike and I are not alone in this!!

But some days, our best doesn’t seem like it is enough. We look to each other for answers and support. All we really want or need is for someone to tell us we are not alone!! Share a story of their own with us…

In this crazy world, there is so much competition to be the best parent and to do all the things. The expectations and the pressure have increased. We are asked to meet a standard that seems impossible to reach. Always doing our best or hoping we are.

I’m here to tell you, You are doing your best! And your best is enough. Your best is enough because you are not alone. Your best is enough because it is your best and you can be confident in that. We are all here to support you. When you feel like the worst mom in the world, we have seen that time today too. When you feel like the best mom in the world, we have seen that time today too!! You see, this parenting thing is hard enough. So, I’m here for you. I’m here to tell you, I’ve totally been there too!! Kudos to you for doing your best!!
