Master bedroom

So, I will admit that the paint colors in our bedroom are my least favorite in this house. But we haven’t gotten around to painting it yet since buying the house last fall. It’s also not #1 on the list… so I have, of course, decorated anyway! 😉

Our bedroom has the absolute best view and we are absolutely grateful for it!!! The view when we wake up is why I took so long to put curtains up… Well, that and the fact that no one lives close enough to see in! Haha But with warmer weather and a hot sun moving in, curtains became necessary.

Our bedroom furniture is a mix of old and new and rehabbed. And I love it!! The nightstands are actually from Walmart. I purchased them several years ago and then sanded and painted them to match the dresser we found. Our dresser is an old piece that we found with a local furniture rehabber. It is solid! And by far my favorite piece in the room! The bed is from Raymour and Flanigan. I wanted a metal frame bed and hubby wanted a leather plush bed… so we compromised!

The latest addition to our room is from amazon… our curtains. They are a white cotton and just the right color and fabric I was looking for! Oh, and did I mention they were super inexpensive at only $25 a pair!!! 😳

I have tagged the accessories and decor items on a separate Instagram post, so be sure to follow me there too!!
